Dress Rentals - How It Works

HOW IT WORKS & T's & C's

Select the start of your 4-day rental period on our booking calendar.  We suggest booking the first day of your 4-day rental period 2 days before your event date.

 

DELIVERY

Door to door delivery is included in the pricing.  Your rental item(s) will be dispatched 3-5 working days before the start of your 4-day rental period, to ensure it is delivered on or before the first day of your 4-day rental period.

If your rental item(s) are delivered a day or two earlier than your scheduled rental period, then you score this extra time completely free of charge :)

Your rental item(s) will be delivered in a box with a garment bag.  Please handle with care as you will have to repackage the item(s) for collection after your 4-day rental period.

 Please inspect the rental item(s) and inform us of any marks/stains or damages within 5 hours of receipt of your rental item(s).  If you do not notify us of these within the time period, any marks/stains and/or damages found by us after return will be assumed to have been caused during your rental period.

Should the courier attempt to and be unable to deliver your rental items no later than on the first day of your rental period, due to you not being available at your delivery address, and due to no fault of the courier, and delivery is therefore delayed past the first day of your rental period, you will not be eligible for a refund.

COLLECTION (for return after rental period)

A courier will collect your rental item(s) at the address that they were delivered, at no extra cost to you, on the last day (or following business day) of your 4-day rental period.

You will need to ensure you are available at the collection address on the day of the collection.  Failure to do so, will result in additional late fees being charged to you.  This will be deducted from your rental deposit.

 

CLEANING

There is no need for you to clean your rental item(s) before collection.  We clean them in house, to ensure they are cleaned correctly in a way that will not damage the fabric.  

please do not clean the rental item(s) in any way as this may risk damage.

 

YOUR RENTAL ITEM DOESN'T FIT

Please try on your rental item(s) immediately after receiving them to check that it fits.  If it does not, you are required to inform us within 5 hours after receiving your rental item(s).

Many of our rental dresses are adjustable in size, so there is a very good chance that the dresses will fit :)  You can also chat to us about a specific dress and we can give you a better idea on if it would fit you, based on a few of your measurements.

You are welcome to come fit the dresses at us in the Mosselbay Area, Western Cape

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT

To ensure our dresses are treated with care and respect, and retuned, We require a security deposit. 

This deposit is refundable, provided the dress has been returned (and returned on time!), is free of damage and permanent stains. 

Late fees and/or cost of repairs/replacement will be deducted from the deposit and balance (if any) refunded to you.

Once we have received the dress back from you, we will wash and inspect the dress.  Any damages or stains will be highlighted to you and your deposit will be refunded within 5 working days (less any fees that may be incurred as a result of late return and/or stains/damages)

In the event of repair and/or late fees amounting to more than the amount of the security deposit, you will be required to pay any such amounts.

 

LATE FEES

Should you not ensure you are available at the address on the scheduled day of collection, and the courier is unable to complete the collection as a result thereof (and due to no fault of their own), you will be charged a late fee of R250/day, for every day after the 4th day of the rental period in which the rental item(s) remain in your possession.

These costs will be deducted from your security deposit. In the event of repair and/or late fees amounting to more than the amount of the security deposit, you will be required to pay any such amounts.

 

RENTAL CANCELLATION POLICY 

Should you cancel your rental less than 7 days before the start of your scheduled rental period, you will not be eligible for a refund of the Rental Fee.  Your security deposit will however be refunded in full.

Should you cancel your rental 8-15 days before the start of your scheduled rental period, you will be eligible for a refund of the rental fee, less a 30% cancellation fee.  Your security deposit will however be refunded in full.

Should you cancel your rental 16 days or more before the start of you scheduled rental period, you will be eligible for a refund of the rental fee less a 10% cancellation fee.  Your security deposit will however be refunded in full.

Should we have to cancel your rental as a result of late return or serious damage from a previous renter, we will inform you immediately and offer an alternative dress, or a full refund.
