The separate corset bodice is based on an authentic antique late 1800s/early 1900s gored bodice, with only minor changes to the bottom edge and front neckline (raised for more coverage- these corsets would have been mid-bust level traditionally)
the corset is designed to achieve waist reduction of roughly 5cm and creates a similar silhouette to that of corsets from the time period.
the dress includes a separate, delicate and sheer shoulder armour element with whispy draped tulle ‘sleeves’
